Anyway, we had a great time hanging out, reminiscing about our own high school dances, the excitement and the awkwardness that we experienced in those early days, and we even enjoyed a couple of slow songs together. It was so much fun!
Thanks to my Mom's closet where I found my sweet jacket-thingy and to a good friend who let me borrow her afro wig, I was all set. I almost wish I had real hair like that! How cool would that be?!
As you can see, Einstein is really curious about this whole new look I'm sporting!

Ah...chaperones. Someday I will get to do that. It will be fun to embarrass all the teenagers with our old fashioned dancing. (At least that is what I always thought about the chaperones at our dances.)
Sounds like fun! That is a great wig!
Dustyn and I get a lot of opportunities to chaperone high school dances. (Guess that is what happens when you are a high school teacher!) But it usually is pretty fun. The kids like to come make fun of us! Good times!
50s, Disco and Cowboy! Out of all the themes to jam together! Hah, I bet it was fun. I have an afro-picture from last Halloween that really resembles yours. Got to love it.
Heffalump, oh man, we love to embarrass the kids with our "weird" dance moves! :)
Kamie, they are good times, huh?! We should exchange signature dance moves!
Amy, since this wig was borrowed, I've already decided that I *have* to have one of my own! I loved wearing it - so fun!
