First, I really want to thank those who left comments on my last post... I thoroughly enjoyed reading what some of your responses would be if you were placed in a similar situation. And, Brent (if you're reading this), I was especially entertained by your comebacks. I really love the small community of individuals who stop by here... you all are wonderful beyond words!
I feel terrible about my lack of blogging lately... I've missed it, too. Time is just flying and I don't know how to make it slow down. Our little Ben is going to be four months old in just a couple of weeks and his little brother should arrive a couple of short weeks after that. Both have kept me good and busy. I'm a little curious to see how my busy-ness will change once the other has joined us in this outside world. Will it be harder or easier? Time will tell, and I'll be sure to let you know.
The last month has been full of appointments, birthing classes, naps, feedings, diaper changes, church responsibilities, and making plans for the days ahead. Mixed in there, I got sick again a couple of weeks ago. That's four times in the span of this pregnancy... only this time, at such a late point in my pregnancy, it was much more taxing.
There is so much I need to update - at the top of the list is the final post about our adoption placement day. It's started, but not nearly close to being finished. But, it's definitely a priority.
For now, it's feeding time again and Ben makes sure I know that's at the top of my priorities.
And just because I love you and I love sharing photos of my little boy, I'll leave you with a few photos for your enjoyment.

Love the pics!! Such a handsome boy. Can't wait to see how life is once Baby Brother arrives! (It's so funny to think that Baby Brother will only be five months younger! Wow!)
I can't believe how big Ben has gotten! Also, that he is almost 4 months old and baby brother will be here so soon! You are amazing, Megan! I love you and will touch base with you soon!
So cute! I can't wait to see him (and you and Marc) in person! Love you!
So cute! I love the last pic especially. They have the same haircut ;o)
I remember trying to take care of one kid while pregnant with the next and thinking that surely it would be easier once the baby is out since I would no longer be all ungainly and awkward...only to have the baby come out and wish I was still pregnant since at least then I wouldn't have to worry about feeding it and carrying it around. ;
Ben is SO CUTE!!!! I am just so happy for the both of you! Can't wait to hear about placement. Zack just turned 11 this week. I have been remembering all about the day that we got Zack it was great to think back.
mercy he's precious!!
aren't birthing classes a kick? we laughed through ours. kinda weird when you already know what to do when you bring the baby home.
congratulations again.
I love seeing pictures of Ben! We're in the middle of applying to adopt a second baby with LDS Family Services again. There's so much to do and I have less time to do it now that I have a little toddler to keep me busy. But seeing your sweet baby was a good reminder to me of why we're doing all this work and that it will be so worth when we're blessed to be the parents of a second little one. I can't imagine how busy you're going to be with two little ones so close in age but as you know, the Lord never gives us challenges without the necessary help to meet them. You can do it!
He looks so much like Daddy!
wow, Ben is looking so big! I've been checking in to see if there is any new baby yet! please keep us posted!
